Futsal players of "Ashgabat" won the title of champions of Turkmenistan. They achieved this success by winning the national championship that ended in the Olympic town of the capital.

The championship in the round robin system was contested by four teams.

In the first round, Ashgabat defeated Lebap - 4: 0, and Akhal took over the Balkan - 3: 0. In the second round, "Lebap" confidently beat "Balkan" - 4: 0, while "Ashgabat" and "Akhal" drew each other - 2: 2. The matches of the third round brought the following results: Ashgabat - Balkan - 5: 0, Akhal - Lebap - 3: 1.

As a result of these meetings, Ashgabat and Akhal scored 7 points each. However, due to the best difference between goals scored and conceded, "Ashgabat" became the champion of Turkmenistan. It is noteworthy that for the fifth year in a row, the capital's team was brought to this success as the head coach by the famous former footballer of the Ashgabat Kopetdag and the national team of the country Kamil Mingazov.

The silver medalist of the national championship was "Akhal", and the bronze - "Lebap".
