About 150 sportsmen from all velayats and the city of Ashgabat have taken part in present competitions. Medals were played in three junior groups and among men.


The first place in team event was won by Mary national team: seven gold medals. The second place with 6 gold medals was taken by representatives of host team – Balkan residents. Ashgabat sportsmen have taken the third place with five gold awards. Dashoguz sportsmen have gained three victories, Ahal and Lebap team were awarded by one first place each.

Winners and prize-winners of the present competitions will have to prepare for the Cup of Turkmenistan on universal combat, planned to be conducted here - on the bank of the Caspian sea, in August. In September, Avaza will host a national Cup on the Indian power game kabaddi.
