This sport training, where representatives of World belt wrestling federation was invited, is timed to forthcoming Asian Championship for these wrestling types.
The main target of the seminar is competence development of jury for gyoresh. It is worth specifying that two world Turkmen national wrestling championships were held in Ashgabat and Orenburg, where referees from Turkmenistan umpired the fights. The relative certificates of international standard are required for further work in this direction including the referee training of foreign coaches and sportsmen. The necessity of specialized seminars has grown since World gyoresh federation was founded in the end of last year.
To receive such certificate the participants has to take qualification exam – show exceptional referee skills during test Asian gyoresh championship. Its results will detect the level of preparation of our athletes to V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat as well as demonstrate organizational level of this kind of competitions.
45 referees from all velayats of the country and capital as well as foreign specialists – Director of sport and technical committee of International belt wrestling federation Vener Gainullin and referees of International category Halil Garifullin and Aydar Islamgulov took part in the seminar.
Referee subjects of forthcoming Asian classic belt wrestling championship, also included in the programme of Asian Games – 2017, were discussed during the lessons. In particular, foreign guests introduced the amendments and addenda made in this sport to the participants of the seminar, discussed the schedule of fights during upcoming competitions and outlined the perspective of further development of belt wrestling in international sport arena.
It is worth reminding that test Asian championship for two wrestling categories starts on June 26. The prizes will be contended in two disciplines – classic (only torso throws) and free (throws by ankle and back hills trips) styles. Around 300 athletes from 16 countries will come to Ashgabat. The competitions will last until June 29.
