Tutkmen gyoresh was included in Asian belt wrestling federation. This decision was taken during the Congress of Asian federation held on the threshold of Asian wrestling championship started yesterday in the Olympic village in Ashgabat.

Representatives of International belt wrestling federation, leaders of national organizations for this sport of Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Iran and other countries as well as World gyoresh federation took part in the session of congress and unanimously voted for unification of two popular wrestling styles. Coach on national team Abdulla Berdiliyev was elected as the vice-president of Turkmen gyoresh division.
