On the Asia Championship of this year (Almaty city, Kazakhstan) our team reached the top three places, having won 20 medals (four gold, six silver and ten bronze).
Participants of the workshops held for a week were not only Japanese sports coaches, but also black belt holders. Many of them have met the Turkmenistan sportsmen in fighting in various international competitions.
Upon completion of training, Aydogdy Atabayev took exams from participants who were then conferred relevant certificates.
Currently, the Turkmen masters of Taekwondo ITF conduct intensive training preparation for the world championship among juniors and veterans which is scheduled to be held in Italy in August.
