Several hundred chess players from 16 countries: China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India, Syria, Jordan, the Philippines, New Zealand, Mongolia attended the competition at continental level. The competition is held in accordance of the Swiss system in seven tournaments. The time limit of the competition in the rapid discipline is given 15 minutes on one party adding 10 seconds after each move.
The first place in the competition of our team took Soltan Myradov, performed for the age group up to 15 years; together with him, 36 sportsmen competed for the "gold" medal. During the game, a disciple of the honored coach of Turkmenistan Serdar Annaberdiyev has not ever sustained a defeat a single time, gaining 6.5 points out of seven possible. This is the first victory of the young chess player on the world, sports arena, which opens up the path to new successes.
In the group of chess players up to 13 year, three sportsmen competed for the gold medal received the same number of points – up to six. Among them were our compatriots – Azat Nurmammedov. As on the ratio of the coefficients of the Turkmen chess player has become the silver medal holder. As noted the tough competition has performed in the matches of this age group for the right to mount the podium. It consists of 49 sportsmen.
One more "silver" medal has won in the group of girls up to 11 years. Here, Lala Shohradova has distinguished with the score 5.5. Our young compatriot lags behind Zahra Heydari from Iran team just for 0.5 points.

Currently, International Sports Games "Children of Asia" held in Yakutsk (Russian Federation), where our team players are participating in the men's team, who are competing for a medal at a major tournament which is undergoing these days in Moscow.
