Turkmenistan is the owner of the international certificate of World Health Organization on the elimination of measles and rubella. In the auditorium of State Medical University it was held a solemn ceremony of conferring Turkmenistan with the WHO international certificates and the prestigious International Property Awards in the category "Architecture" taking into account the new medical facilities opened this day in the Turkmen capital, and conferred academic titles of Honorary Doctor and Honorary Professor of this university to the German Physicians.
At today's ceremony, it was noted that Turkmenistan’s achievements intended to serve a clear and inspiring examples as the effective communicable diseases control. In this regard, the experience of local medical professionals has been recommended for applications in the CIS countries and the WHO EU states, which is another undeniable international recognition of the country's success in resolving health issues.
In the framework of this ceremony, experts stressed one more successes taken into consideration International Center of Neurology, Center for Public Health and Nutrition, Pathological Center, Center for prevention of the most dangerous infectious diseases in Turkmenistan were conferred the prestigious award the International Property Awards. This award was established in 1995 and included several nominations "Architecture", "Interior", "Real Estate Company" and etc., is currently one of the most prestigious international awards which epitomize excellence in prominent commercial and residential properties.
At the celebration, it was conferred the Honorary Doctor and the Honorary Professor to the German Physicians, particularly Chief physician of the Clinic for Ear, Nose and Throat Medicine of the city Augsburg, Federal Republic of Germany Johannes Zenk and Director of the Ophthalmology Clinic of the city Augsburg, Federal Republic of Germany Arthur Joseph Friedrich Muller for a worthy contribution to the development of healthcare and medical science of our country and for the great merits in strengthening the fruitful Turkmen-German relations in this areas.
Having accepted a diploma and a breastplate, Johannes Zenk expressed his deep gratitude for the high work assessment indicated by the head of the state. According to the guest, each time he arrives to our country, there is an opportunity to observe the outcomes of the great work of improved health care system. Having emphasized the outstanding personal contribution of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the development of this important area, Johannes Zenk said that for him it was a great honor to take part in large-scale transformations carried out in Turkmenistan.
