The Turkmen Agricultural Institute, located in the city of Dashoguz in the northern region of our country, hosted the Geodesy Olympiad.

It was attended by 48 students of two faculties of the university - Hydroreclamation and mechanization of agriculture and Agronomy. The Olympiad was held on the digital educational platform of the institute. Here, students were offered 50 test questions related to the basic concepts and practical tasks of the course "Geodesy".

According to the results of the competition, 9 prizes were determined, which were awarded to students of the second and third courses studying in the specialties "Hydromelioration" and "Land management and cadastres". Three students became the winners of the Geodesy Olympiad - Begli Saparov, Gutlymyrat Begmedov and Timur Saparov. The top three runners-up included Akhmet Taganov, Sona Arazgeldiyeva, Amangul Narbayeva. Among the winners who took third places were also three students - Bazarbay Rozykuliev, Bahar Khaitanova, Babageldi Myradov.

The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad were awarded diplomas of I, II and III degrees of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute, as well as memorable gifts from the Dashoguz Velayat Committee of the Agrarian Party of Turkmenistan.

Profile Olympiads, competitions are held at the TSKhI on a regular basis as part of the implementation of the tasks set for the development of the digital education system in the country, and the training of highly qualified specialists.

Such intellectual reviews are aimed at developing the talents and professional skills of students, their ability to analyze topical scientific and practical issues, and to conduct independent work. Subject competitions also allow assessing the level of knowledge of students, encouraging the creative and scientific activity of young people.
