Amanmyrat is continuer of track and field athletes’ dynasty. His father, Annachary Hommadov is famous master of shot put in the past and today, a coach including of his own son, who nowadays is strongest one in chosen discipline in Turkmenistan.

For example, Turkmen hammer thrower won silver medal during large international tournament in the last month, having lost only to the host representative. There is 4th place during XVI Asian Games in 2010 in Guangzhou (China) among other achievements of 26-years old graduate of National Institute of Tourism and Sport. Personal record of A. Hommadov is 70.65 meters, which was set during Turkmenistan Cup in the last year. Amanmyrat is confident that he will improve this result during Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro where he will have to compete on June 17 at main stadium of the Games – Marakana.
The same target is set for Elena Ryabova – repeated state champion on 60, 100 and 200 meters sprint run distances, winner prize-holder of various international competitions. 25-years old student of honoured coach of Turkmenistan Haji Rahmanov regularly represents our country in World and Asian Championships, complex competitions of continental level. During Asian Indoor Games – 2012 in Guangzhou (China), E. Ryabova set new national record in sprint, having run 60 meters for 7.66 seconds.
After some break in her field and track career, Elena returned to sport and for the short period completely regained her previous shape. By the opinion of her coach, our Olympic runner has reached the level of sport maturity and is able to achieve high results.
E. Ryabova will have to enter running tracks of the same famous stadium Marakana on August 15 where she will start competition not from pre- selection contests but from quarterfinal sprints.
Along with track and field competitions, Turkmenistan team will take part in judo, boxing, weightlifting and swimming contests.
