Two students of the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan received the title of winner and prize-winner of the Open International Olympiad of St. Petersburg State University among students and young professionals Petropolitan Science (Re)Search in the field of "Computational technologies (fundamental informatics and information technologies)".
According to the final results of the qualifying and final stages, Nurgeldi Dovletov, having scored a total of 85 points, was declared the winner of the Olympiad. The winner of the competition was Begenchmurat Berdyev, whose total score was 79. Both ITIT students are first-year students of the specialty "Information Security".
It should be noted that in this nomination of the Olympiad only 4 leaders were determined (2 winners and 2 prize-winners) and two of them are from Turkmenistan. The second winner represents the university-organizer of the youth review - St. Petersburg State University, and the prize-winner - Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.
The goal of the St Petersburg University Olympiad in Computing Technologies is to identify the most talented students and graduates who have the skills and knowledge, the ability to find non-standard solutions to problems in the field of information technology. Tasks designed specifically for the Olympiad are designed to test knowledge of modern programming technologies, skills in analyzing existing and creating their own software solutions, mastering the methods of parallel and distributed computing, data processing and machine learning.
