The other day Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Turkmenistan Gholam Abbas Arbab Khales met with the Minister of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan Nurmuhammet Amannepesov. This was reported by the press service of the Iranian diplomatic mission in Ashgabat.

At this meeting, which was held in a warm atmosphere, the parties discussed the state and prospects for the development of Turkmen-Iranian cooperation in the field of healthcare, as well as the medical and pharmaceutical industries.

They also discussed the expansion of cooperation in the field of joint scientific research, taking into account the use of each other's experience in the fight against various diseases, as well as the expansion of scientific exchanges and the production of medicines.

Following the talks, the participants confirmed their high interest in expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas of healthcare and the medical industry in the interests of the health of citizens of the two friendly countries.
