The Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports held an intellectual Internet competition among students of the country's universities.
More than 80 students from 10 universities gathered at the virtual site of the event. Participants had to demonstrate versatile knowledge in the field of physical culture and sports and topics related to them.
Students were asked 100 questions regarding state policy and programs in the field of physical culture and sports development, sports facilities, historical dates and events, sports and their rules, sports games, holidays and much more. For connoisseurs, there were even questions related to the work of foreign and Turkmen filmmakers, writers, poets, who glorify sports and a healthy lifestyle.
According to the results of the competition, 10 prizes were determined: 3 first, 3 second and 4 third.
The winners were Ajap Batyrova (Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S. Seidi, Turkmenabad), Myahri Yagshymuradova (Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli) and Enar Muradova (Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports).
Second places were awarded to Abylesen Ashirdurdyev (International University for the Humanities and Development), Rakhim Kakadurdyev (International University of Oil and Gas named after Ya. Kakaev) and Oraz Berdyev (Turkmen Agricultural Institute).
The third places were taken by Nepes Saparnazarov (State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan, Mary), Imammuhammet Agaliyev (Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering), Gulkhatyja Gurbanmammedova (Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan), Babahan Dzhanmuradov (Turkmen Agricultural University named after S. A. Niyazov).
The intellectual competition was held through the digital educational platform of the institute. Among the main goals of the competition are expanding the knowledge of young people about physical culture and sports, stimulating the physical and sports activity of students, promoting a healthy lifestyle. The competition was also held as part of the implementation of tasks in the field of state youth policy.
