Articles in English and Arab languages, narrating about foreign policy course and constructive initiatives of Leader of the Nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, which proposed by the Head of the State from high podiums of competent international organizations and concrete measures undertaken for their realization as well as about richest cultural heritage of Turkmen people that became integral part if universal civilization, were published in the magazine, which was edited under active cooperation of the Embassy of Turkmenistan. Great attention was paid to the history and present of our capital Ashgabat that became some sort of hallmark of rapidly developing Turkmenistan.

It was mentioned that the adoption of the UN Resolution on “Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan” during 50th United Nation General Assembly on December 12, 1995 became obvious recognition of utmost support by international society of peace loving policy led by Turkmenistan, which is based on primordial and firm traditions of good neighbourhood, tolerance and humanity of our people.

Special place in the magazine is given to neutrality of Turkmenistan that exerts positive influence upon keeping of stability in the central Asia region and establishment of civilized dialog based on adherence and coordination of geopolitical and national interests. It was mentioned in the edition that high status, delegated by the world society, multiplied the focus of our country not only to act as active propagandist of creative peace-making policy but to become reliable springboard for consecutive and steadfast realization of all large-scale transformation programmes of the state and social and economic development of new age.

Recent practice demonstrated that Turkmenistan, actively participating in international forums, carries out consecutively and purposefully the effective measures for realization of its proposed international initiatives, where each of them offers principally new, comprehensive approach to concrete problems of the third millennium through the prism of gained experience of international cooperation and tendency of universal development.

Special article is dedicated to energy diplomacy of Turkmenistan, one of the largest gas country that actively realize the strategy of diversification of export routes of its hydrocarbon resources to world markets. As is known, while being one of the world suppliers of energy sources, our country states for establishment of stable systems of international energy supplies, development of efficient schemes and models of cooperation on world markets providing reliability of transnational pipeline infrastructure.

The initiative of wide interested international dialog on this issue, brought forward by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and adoption of the UN General Assembly resolution of “reliable and Stable Transit of Energy and Its Role in provision of Sustainable Development and International Cooperation” in December 2008 became first step of our country in this direction. This important document is a starting point of formation of international regulation base of safe transit of energies. Actuality and demand of Turkmenistan initiatives for development of wide international cooperation in fuel and energy sector was proved by adoption of the same, second Resolution of the UN General Assembly in May 2013, which was co-sponsored by 71 states members of this competent international organization.

From this point of view, large-scale projects realized recently, including construction of new gas lines to China and neighbouring Iran, can be considered as true input of Turkmenistan into bridging of international energy partnership and as actual stabilizing factor, which is able to affect positively on general condition and development of the region and turning of it into one of the energy centre of the international significance. In December of 2015, another grandiose project, which expands far beyond the regional borders both in economic and political point of view, construction of Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline, which will enhance the growth of national economy of participating countries and consolidation of political stability in the whole region, has started in December of 2015

It is mentioned in publications that measures undertaken by Turkmenistan for development of international transport infrastructure open new horizons of fruitful international cooperation. This is visually testified by total support of both Resolution on “The Role of Transport and Transit Corridors in Provision of International Cooperation for Sustainable Development” initiated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and adopted during 69th session of the UN General Assembly in December 2014 and concrete international, regional and national projects for establishment of new transport and transit corridors and increase of potential of native air, automobile, railroad and marine transport.

The Turkmen Leader highlighted more than once while speaking from the high podium that global transport strategy of XXI century is a strategy of integration break through, combination of geographic and infrastructural opportunities, technical and technological potential of the states and regions. He is firmly confident that the future is in combined system of transportation with exit to the largest international and regional marine, river, automobile, railroad and air hubs, their optimum combination and use of their advantages.

Separate article of special edition is dedicated to traditionally friendly relations between Turkmenistan and United Arab Emirates, which are distinguished by the activity of interstate dialog built on equal, mutually respectful base.

The practice of old trust partnership, diplomatic relations was established in October of 1995, serves as indicator of good will of both countries demonstrating common urge to bring present multi aspect cooperation to qualitevely new level that meet existing colossal potential and priorities of state development of both countries.

Meeting of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with President of UAE Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahayan, held recently under exchange of visits on the high level, confirmed mutual interest of the sides to promotion of established constructive interaction in all key directions. New stimulus for further development of Turkmen – Emirates dialog, expansion of trade and economic relations was given by the activity of Joint Committee for Cooperation, which first session was held in November, 2012 in Abu-Dhabi and resulted in firm agreements on cooperation in trade and economic, oil and gas, energy, agricultural, transport and communication and other key spheres.

Great attention is paid today to comprehensive development of cultural and humanitarian relations, what serves to better mutual understanding and consolidation of friendship relations of two peoples. Days of Turkmenistan Culture in UAE on the threshold of official visit of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in 2013 as well as Days of Culture of United Arab Emirates in Ashgabat in the last year became visual evidence of this. Cooperation in education, science and sport spheres is also under development.

It is not a coincidence that special place in the magazine is given to preparation for V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Turkmenistan. As is known, Asian Games – 2017 will become the largest in the history of Asian games and will gather delegations of 45 national Olympic Committees of Asian and 17 of Oceania countries. Such representative composition of participants is another evidence of high international authority of our Motherland.
