More than two hundred boys and girls from 23 Asian countries gathered for full-format communication in «Youth Camp for Asia’s Future».
- This was great opportunity for us to communicate and discuss with peers from other countries, to introduce them to the main aspect of youth policy of Turkmenistan, which is aimed at support of entrepreneurship, scientific and creative initiatives, education of political maturity and development of citizenship, to large-scale achievements of our independent Motherland, its rich culture and original traditions – leader of the delegation, department manager of Abadan etrap committee of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtumguly Ylyas Soyunov mentioned.
The purpose of the event, according to the plan of organizers – National Committee of the Republic for Youth Affairs under sponsorship of Ministry for Family Affairs and Gender Equality, is consolidation of humanitarian relations among the youth of Asian countries. All national delegations prepared presentations about their countries, having introduced to the history, spirituality, achievements, traditions and national cuisine. It was highlighted that historical and cultural values are universal heritage of the mankind that present the foundation for fruitful humanitarian cooperation.
Our delegation brought photo exhibition to the forum, which speaks about historical monuments of Turkmenistan, unique carpet-making art, matchless ahalteke horses, white marble Ashgabat and its distinguished architectural aesthetics. During youth forum, Turkmen art was represented by stirring dance kushtdepdi and ancient girlish songs lyale. Our foreign peers enjoyed the tastes of dried melon, peshme and sweet cookies kul’che at exhibition of national cuisine. Traditional souvenirs were presented to our friends as a memory of Turkmenistan.
Receiving party introduced local sightseeing, traditions and culture of Korean people to us during the forum.
Conduct of such events is important in the context of formation of youth diplomacy as it enhance multi aspect humanitarian cooperation and creation of positive image of the country.
