Representative delegation of friendly neighbouring country included leaders of National Agency for Export and Investments of Kazakhstan “Kazneks Invest” and representatives of around 40 known companies specialized in different spheres. The purpose of the forum is the consolidation of trade and economic cooperation, definition of perspective directions, establishment of favourable conditions for activation of partnership between entrepreneurship structures of both countries, which peoples are tied by years-old bonds of friendship and good neighbourhood.
The participants of the delegation mentioned that recently, intensification of the dialog between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan is characterised by stable dynamics, what is mainly promoted by the agreements achieved during regular top-level meetings and negotiations, where Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Nursultan Nazarbaev define key vectors of cooperation of two countries on bilateral and multilateral basis including under largest international organizations and competent regional structures. The activity of joint intergovernmental Turkmen – Kazakhstan committee for economic, scientific, technical, and cultural cooperation is aimed at comprehensive intensification of productive relations.
During current meeting, perspectives of rapidly developing Turkmenistan, possessing rich natural resources and huge economic potential as well as large-scale projects, which are being successfully implemented and planned for realization, were presented to Kazakhstan partners.
Review reports and special video visually demonstrated grandiose successes and achievements of modern Turkmenistan on its way of independent development, measures, undertaken by our country for realization of its considerable export and industrial potential, stimulation of domestic manufacturers, attraction of foreign investments to all spheres of national economy and expansion of relations with foreign business.
Demonstrating keen interest in establishment of full-scale cooperation with our country having high international authority as perspective and reliable partner, the representatives of Kazakhstan business circles highlighted exclusive attraction of Turkmen market.
Most favourable conditions created in the country for foreign investments and open door policy of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov allowing attracting best world practices and high technologies, which are on high demand in conditions of rapid economic growth, serve in many respects to increased interest of business elite of foreign countries including Kazakhstan.
During presentation of their companies, Kazakhstan businessmen highlighted the willingness for most active participation in important projects of national and regional significance undertaken in our country. In this relation, the role of largest joint projects including construction of transnational gas main, which currently transports the gas to China as well as Kazakhstan – Turkmenistan – Iran railroad, recognized as “golden” link of North – South transport corridor, was emphasized.
The presenters noted that Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, being located on intersection of modern transnational routes connecting European and Asian countries, seek for maximum realization of opening opportunities in order to consolidate mutually beneficial trade and economic relations meeting the interests of not only two friendly countries but the sustainable development of the whole region.
During interested share of visions on conditions and perspectives of interstate trade and economic relations, concrete proposals on diversification of traditional cooperation in such perspective directions as fuel and energy sector, transport and communication sphere, mechanical engineering, production of building materials, trade, agriculture, textile, chemical and food industry and others were uttered. At this, the sides stated that expansion of economic partnership is considered not only as integral condition of the progress and prospeiry of both countries but also as guarantee of sustainable development of the whole region, which is unique indeed by its geographical and resource characteristics.
It was highlighted that Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan are ready for activation of multiaspect cooperation, which is initially built on long-term base and comprehensively meeting key goals of social and large-scale economic reforms undertaken by the leaders of two friendly countries.
Expressing invariable adherence of both countries to centuries-old good neighbourhood relations, the participants of the business forum mentioned the necessity of steadfast improvement of existing legal framework, consolidation of cooperation for the account of accumulation of trade and economic ties, increase of export-import operations, expansion of product mix of goods and services. Regular exhibitions, fairs, conferences and business forums have to become actual mechanism for closer relations of business structures.
