This success was achieved by Larisa Vahitova among group of 10-yars old girls having II adult class. Before the competitions in Minsk, where around 60 sportsmen took part, L. Vahitiva underwent 3-weeks course of individual trainings under the guidance of Igor Rolinskiy, the Head couch of National youth figure skating team of Belarus.

Larisa performed two dances at the ring, which include compulsory demonstration of six double leaps. After short programme, Turkmen girl was on the second position, yielding only to host representative with minimum difference. However, during free skate programme, our compatriot unfortunately made small mistake, what resulted in third place at the podium.

This was not the first achievements of L. Vahitova at international sport arena. Last year, she also became bronze prize winner at “Minsk Arena” Open Cup competition.

Now, the athlete will have to train for other international tournaments, in particular to “Tallinn Trophy”, which will be held in December of this year in the capital of Estonia and to “Volvo Cup” competitions in soring of the next year in Riga, Latvia.
