The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted the eighth final game of the first qualifying round of the intellectual competition "Young Heralds of the World".
Its winners have become known, and hence all the participants of the semi-final of the project. In total, 16 winners of 8 games of the qualifying round of the competition will make up two teams (8 people each) for the upcoming two semi-final games.
Let us remind readers that the project was organized for students of grades 9-11 of the country's schools by representatives of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan (IMO MFA) and the School of Young Diplomats as part of this university. Young messengers are talented and capable participants of the project, showing a special interest in the diplomatic sphere. The task of the organizers is to increase this interest and encourage schoolchildren to develop their knowledge and abilities, to focus on the upcoming professional choice.
The content of the competition covers the events of historical eras in which the formation and development of the national school of diplomacy took place.
This time, the intellectual battles of the players took place on the topic "Foreign policy and diplomacy of the Delhi Sultanate, Kutubsha, Safavi and Ovshar of the Turkmen states." According to the recommendations of the organizers, during the preparation for the main meeting, the participants replenished their knowledge base with the help of the proposed literature on the topic of the game.
On the eve of the competition, representatives of the IMO of the country's Foreign Ministry also conducted an educational excursion for schoolchildren to the Independence Monument in the capital. Here, at the monument to the outstanding historical personality Muhammad Bayram Khan Turkmen, an entertaining story was heard for the contestants. It was dedicated to the history of the state of the Great Moghuls and the invaluable contribution of Bairam Khan Turkmen to the development of the empire. The training course on the theme of the game, organized by the IMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country, by representatives of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen National Institute of Finance contributed to the preparation of the contestants.
Thanks to the efforts of the organizers and diligent self-preparation, the students were fully prepared to participate in the competition. The game traditionally took place in the White Yurt, located in one of the educational buildings of the Higher School of Diplomacy. According to the terms of the project, eight high school students met on the playground. This time - 1 boy and 7 girls, students of specialized and secondary schools in Lebap, Mary, Dashoguz and Balkan velayats - two participants from each.
The competent jury included the Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO Chinar Rustemova, an employee of the Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts named after Makhtumkuli of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Geldimurat Mukhammedov, as well as the Institute of History and Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Kakabai Amanmuradov.
Each game of the project for the participants and its guests, who are keen on the world of diplomacy, is interesting and spectacular. And the eighth meeting of the players was no exception. The irresistible desire of connoisseurs to win, their desire to fully express themselves, show their knowledge and become the best creates a lively atmosphere of rivalry, captivates eyewitnesses of what is happening.
According to the rules of the project, the winners of the 8th game of the qualifying round were two participants who received a "ticket" to the semi-finals of the competition. They are Shasenem Meylisova, a 11th grade student of a specialized school with in-depth study of English and the humanities in the city of Mary, Mary velayat, and Intizar Taganniyazova, a 11th grade student of a specialized secondary school No. 22 with an in-depth study of English, physics and mathematics in the city of Balkanabat, Balkan velayat.
The winners, as well as all participants in the game, were presented with valuable gifts from the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan and sponsors of the event, as well as diplomas and letters of thanks from the university organizing the project.
The sponsors of the game were the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Makhtumkuli, the National Archery Federation of Turkmenistan, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, the State Association "Turkmenhaly", OJSC "Abadan haly", ES "Aýdyň gijeler", ES "Muhammet Balkan", ES "Tibet Türkmen", ES "Saraýan", IE "Ýedi Dogan", metropolitan supermarket "Altyn".
For the Turkmen viewers, the broadcast of the games is traditionally organized by the national TV channel Miras of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography.
