The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a Brain-ring under the motto “Knowledge is the key to a bright future”, held by members of the scientific circle “Lingvo World Club” of the Department of World Languages of the university.

The intellectual game was held in English with the participation of student teams representing four faculties of the institute. Brain-ring included three rounds, built on the principle of the game: question-answer. During the competition, the level of knowledge of a foreign language and other university disciplines, the general outlook and erudition of the participants were assessed. Poems by Magtymguly and other Turkmen poets, folk proverbs and sayings in English were heard at the competition site.

After the final round, the jury announced the results. The title of the winner and the first place was given to the team of experts from the Faculty of International Relations, the second place was awarded to students of the Faculty of International Journalism, the third place was won by students of the Faculty of International Law.

The scientific circle "Lingvo World Club" of the institute is very popular among students who have a special interest in learning foreign languages. With the participation of members of the circle, various intra-university and field events are held on a regular basis - scientific, creative, cultural meetings, competitions, discussions, etc. Traditionally, events dedicated to significant state and international dates are organized. This work helps to improve the level of training of future specialists, significantly expand knowledge, master professional vocabulary, develop the ability to competently express one's thoughts and conduct a dialogue in different languages of the world. The main goal of the circle is to stimulate and develop the interest of the students in learning foreign languages, their linguistic skills and abilities, it also consists in explaining the importance and significance of the language training of international specialists.
