The Exhibition Center of the Chamber of Commerce hosts international exhibition and conference "The main directions of development of power industry of Turkmenistan”.
The forum, organized by the Ministry of Energy and the Chamber of Commerce took part 126 exhibitors. The interest in the exhibition of the world's power companies and the Turkmen branch of government agencies along with the private sector shows a high dynamics of development of this sphere, the desire of foreign and domestic businessmen in the establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation.
It is significant that among the 52 foreign companies are the USA, Russia, Japan, Germany, France, Turkey, Iran, other countries, more than 43 new for the Turkmen market participants, who are attracted by the good prospects for large-scale investment and energy projects in our country. Thus, Turkmenistan is steadily expanding world economy, demonstrating the rapid pace of economic development, the priority of which is electricity. The progressive development of this key sector provides a successful solution to the problem of rapid industrialization of the country, strengthening its economic power.
The opening ceremony was attended by members of the government, Mejlis heads, representatives of ministries and departments, public organizations, heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Turkmenistan, international organizations, and numerous foreign guests.
