Turkmen athletes won 15 medals at Asian Beach Games in Vietnam

Turkmenistan national team won 15 in total count – 2 gold, four silver and nine bronze medals, at V Asian Beach Games in Danang, where 1000 athletes from 45 countries participate.

Most awards, six, our compatriots gained in kurash wrestling competitions. The final in up to 90 kilograms fights was purely Turkmen. Yhlas Setdarov won over Nabi Aliyev in stubborn fight. Both sportsmen are students of the National Institute of Sport and Tourism.

One more silver prize was conquered by Nuryagdy Jepbarov (up to 73 kg). Muhammet Temirov and Sanjar Abdirahmanov (up to 81 kg) as well as Zarina Saparova (up to 48 kg) won bronze medals.

Our wrestlers won three prizes in each sambo in jujitsu. Sambo fights brought prizes of all three kinds into collection of sport achievements of Turkmenistan. Begly Meretgeldiyev (up to 62 kg) stepped at highest level of the podium, second place was taken by Nurali Yalkapov (up to 90 kg) and Dinara Rozykulova (up to 56 kg) occupied third stage.

Two brothers Yusup and Ahmet Tanriberdiyev won silver medals in exhibition jujitsu performances. Two bronze medals were won by Ulyana Kudinova (up to 49 kg) and Angelina Filippova (up to 66 kg).

Masters of Thai boxing Yanyl Kavisova (up to 57 kg) and Jennet Aynazarov (up to 60 kg) won two bronze medals each.

Another bronze prize was brought to collection of our team by Yusup Melejayev in 90 kg free style wrestling.
