New sports complex with stadium designed for 1,500 seats opened in Mary.
The complex built in the Gunesh settlement has replenished a number of sports facilities opened in the region. Three years ago a new modern stadium designed for 10,000 spectators was opened in the administrative center of Mary Velayat.
The new sports complex includes a football field, tracks, outdoor volleyball, basketball, mini-football fields and tennis courts. There are small hotel for sportsmen, medical room, offices and auxiliary facilities under the stands supplied with autonomous energy-, water- and heating-supply systems. The territory adjacent to the complex is improved, planted with trees and shrubs and equipped with the advanced lighting system. Thus, all necessary conditions for practicing various sports and hosting sports and festive events of various levels have been created in the complex.
