On August 29-30, on the eve of the new academic year, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a two-day methodological and practical seminar "Issues of Pedagogy and Psychology of Higher Education" for the teaching staff of Turkmen universities.

The purpose of the event is to improve the quality of higher education by supplementing the profile education of non-pedagogical university teachers with psychological and pedagogical knowledge and skills for the effective performance of their functional duties. The seminar was held by specialists of the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan

In the speeches, the methodological foundations of the psychology and pedagogy of higher education, the methodology for planning, organizing and conducting classes, choosing the optimal forms and methods of teaching and assessing students' knowledge, taking into account their psychological characteristics and gender aspect, as well as the importance of pedagogical innovations and digital tools in educational - educational process.
