The international seminar on Han Mu Do is held in the city of Uden (Netherlands) which is located in the European Centre of Martial Arts, takes part the honored coach of Turkmenistan Orif Bukharakov. Our compatriot is the only coach from the CIS who received an invitation to the training seminar followed by an examination to award Dan- the highest recognition of Martial Arts.
Participants undergo an in-depth course on the art of attack and self-defense techniques during the seminar held by the Han Mu Do founder, 10th Dan Grandmaster, Dr. He-Young Kimm.
Chairman of the Federation of Martial Arts of Han Mu Do in Turkmenistan - O.Bukharakov undergoes training to receive II Dan with which our compatriot brilliantly managed. Apart from the certificate of awarding II Dan, our trainer is given a document certifying that the Turkmen Han Mu Do school officially recognized by the World Association of Martial Arts. In addition, O.Bukharakov is awarded another certificate on conferring the title of "master trainer": trainer from Turkmenistan can now teach this kind of martial arts in any country of the world.
In Turkmenistan, the Korean Martial Art Han Mu Do begins to develop after independence. Currently, Han Mu Do section operates in all administrative centers of the regions of Turkmenistan. Federation of the Martial Arts develops not only Korean styles, but other kinds of it as well, including universal fight, sports knife throwing and Indian Kabaddi team play.
These days, Turkmen sportsmen are preparing for two world championships -Kabaddi and the universal fight to be held accordingly in the first and second decade of November in India and the Russian Federation. In the upcoming weekends the opening of Balkan Regional Kabaddi Championship among juniors devoted to the 25th Independence of Turkmenistan will be held in Gubadag.
The significant event of the world martial art will be held in the American city Baton Rouge (Louisiana) in the middle of November. There are founders of Korean schools of martial arts came together to share with its own secrets. The representatives of the Federation of Martial Art Han Mu Do of Turkmenistan will take part in the festival.
