The spring horse racing season has started at the equestrian complexes in the regions of the country and the Turkmen capital. Numerous fans of the equestrian sport that has ancient traditions and has enjoyed wide popularity in Turkmenistan, the Motherland of the world-known Ahalteke horses gathered together at the hippodromes to enjoy the horse racing.

The competitions for the main honorary trophies – the prizes of the President of Turkmenistan will take place on the last Sunday of April, when, following the good tradition, the Turkmen Horse Day is widely celebrated throughout the country.
