The capital of Thailand, the Bangkok held large international WTF Taekwondo tournament where 300 sportsmen from 12 countries like China, India, Nepal, Malaysia, Sri-Lanka, Vietnam, Oman, Taipei and others took part. Turkmen national team showed quite a good result having won five medals –four silver and one bronze.

Muhammed Roziyev (up to 59kg), Alexander Kuvarzin (up to 63 kg), Serdar Chariyev (up to 68 kg) and Rzaguly Toymyradov made their way to the final rounds. Aylar Gurbanova (up to 53 kg) was the first in the fights.
