The other day, it is signed a memorandum of understanding with the Malaysian University of Technology "PETRONAS" and the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences, located in Zwickau, a city in Germany.
The agreement with the University of "PETRONAS" signed during the recent official visit of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Malaysia is aimed at the intensification of long-term partnership with International Oil and Gas University with Technological University of "PETRONAS", where Turkmen students, the qualified cadre reserve for the national energy sector are getting trained.
Memorandum of Understanding is signed between the University of Oil and Gas University and the University of Germany in the framework of Ashgabat International Exhibition "Education and Sport". The document considers conducting joint forums and relevant scientific research, exchange of students and teachers, the introduction innovative training methods in the educational process.
The beginning of this cooperation is initiated in the course of the study tour to Germany of a number of leaders of the Turkmen higher educational institutions. Then, it was made the first steps towards a future promising partnership with the oldest university of the friendly country, which has extensive experience in training highly qualified specialists, including in the following fields: economics, logistics, management, information technology, etc.
