«Turkmenistan. Sports» - so the new magazine the first issue of which was released out of print, is titled. The debut issue of the sports almanac is devoted to the year of health and inspiration, the 5th Asian indoor and martial arts games which will be hosted in Ashgabat in September.
The first issue gives a wide coverage of preparatory measures aimed at organization of the Asian indoor and martial arts games at high level, and also measures accepted at the state level on development of sports of higher achievements, mass physical training and sports and health improvement movement in our country.
Publications narrate significant events in the field of development of Turkmen sports for 2016, successes of our athletes in large competitions which were held abroad, expansion of sports infrastructure, including new sports in our country, for example, golf.
A special attention was given to international cooperation in the given aspect, active format of which became thematic forums organized in Ashgabat with participation of representatives of tens of countries and important organisations.
To the 5th Asian indoor and martial arts games, their official brand and mascot a series of articles of the value and sense of artistic images which are represented at attributes of the Ashgabat Games, was devoted.
Besides it, the magazine provides data of the new international airport of Ashgabat which will first welcome numerous visitors and participants of the Asian indoor and martial arts games, objects of the Olympic village and test competitions which were held on its arenas, volunteer movement, media forums, horse marathon which was given a start 500 days prior to the beginning of the Games and which will finish in the capital on the opening day of the Asian indoor and martial arts games -2017.
