The Turkmen team reached the final at the third championship of the central region of Asia in volleyball, which started on March 22 on the Maldives Islands and will compete for gold awards of the tournament.

Making their way towards the final, Turkmen volleyball players won two convincing victories – over the national team of Nepal (3:0) and the national team of the Maldives (3:0). They also outplayed one of the much-fancied teams in the tournament – the team of Kyrgyzstan (3:2).

The final stage of duels will last till March 30.
