International Oil and Gas University is one of the leaders of the State contest of scientific works among the youth. Leyla Yuldasheva, Ayjahan Murzyayeva, Dovran Nurmamedov and Atamurat Hojageldiyev are the authors of the best projects. The subject of two of them, which took the second and third places respectively, is related to environment protection including during urban construction.
Second grade student Atamurat Hojageldiyev was recognized as the best for the development of programme software of computer keyboard simulator in Turkmen language. This programme is the first national product in this sphere, which was patented by the State Service of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Economy and Development of Turkmenistan.
Acting Head of Informational technologies department of the university Maksat Churiyev mentioned in the conversation that specialists of different university departments were involved in making of this software. One of them, young teacher of economy and management department of oil and gas sphere Enish Yazliyev, developed the software for automatic calculation of learning hours in the university.
This product scans electronic documents of training plans, sorts out the disciplines, calculates hours and make report in Microsoft Office for further editing and printing. Patented programme successfully operates allowing the optimization of educational process.
Second grade student of automatic systems of development and control of information department Oraz Orazov developed “Antiplagiat” programme with Turkmen interface, which support Latin symbols. It allows analysing reports, articles or small format book and making the summary on authorship.
The work of the second grade student Altyn Yazmuradova, the author of interactive multimedia system of learning foreign languages as well as the project of the second grade student Yazmurat Gulmammedov related to acceleration of computer programmes are among successful examples.
Engineering Academy in the structure of the university, network of scientific and research centres at the faculties as well as different scientific student study groups at the departments make considerable contribution to consolidation of scientific potential of the university. Generally, recently, the students and teachers developed almost twenty programme products, eight of which were patented.
Introduction of innovations to educational sphere supports stimulation of scientific potential of young generation. Every year, more and more students, young teachers and other specialists of the universities participate in perspective applied researches.
International Oil and Gas University prepares the specialists in many directions of professional training including in computer technologies. Educational process is based on modern trends and is aimed at creation and development of programme software. The students like the process of creating the algorithm and final arrangement of IT product. The process of automation of different production spheres is also very interesting. The development of the skills is promoted by various intellectual contests including the competition of young scientists of Turkmenistan, which is annually held under the aegis of the Academy of Sciences and Magtumguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan.
Scientific projects in programme software sphere were presented several times at the state and international contests and conferences. Few days ago, the results of the contest “Market and Efficiency of Production”, which was held in Kokshetau, Kazakhstan, were announced. The works of young Turkmen programmers made deserving competition to the projects of the authors form Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, and the Republic of Belarus and won three prizes.
