The fourth-year student of department of law of the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly Shohrat Agaliyev became the winner of the contest “Student of the year” organized by Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
Within the framework of the contest rounds, its participants competed in knowledge of humanitarian sciences, information technologies and languages. Creative talents of students, their individual attainments in sports, intellectual and scientific field were estimated. The owners of scholarship of honor, which is granted exceptionally to the most diligent and successful students, were able to pretend to the prestigious title “Student of the year”. Shohrat Agaliyev, who deservedly receives the grant of the President of Turkmenistan, is among them as well.
Childhood of Shohrat passed in the Astanababa settlement of the Atamyrat etrap, Lebap province, where he studied in the comprehensive school till the sixth form until he wasn’t sent to continue his studies to the capital that is the State boarding school for gifted children. Beginning from the first course at the State University, Shohrat annually participates in the subject contests among higher educational establishments and repeatedly became the winner. Last year, besides a regular title of the prize-winner among higher educational establishments, he also became the winner of the creative contest “The Golden Age of the Turkmen” and State Contest of research works among young scientists and the student youth of Turkmenistan.
