A good tradition of last summer days – ‘school fairs’ opened on August 1 in all regions of the country.
There are 15 points of sale opened in large markets and trading centres in the Turkmen capital. Every day, many people come there to purchase school supplies.
The school fairs offer a variety of office supplies of attractive design for different age categories. There are various pupil’s grade books, notebooks, drawing books. Moreover, the drawing books as well as school and sports uniforms for children of all ages are decorated with the emblem of the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games – a grandiose sports event to be held in the Olympic Village in the Turkmen capital in September.
The products offered at the school fairs are mainly produced in Turkmenistan. The school supplies produced in Turkmenistan make up about 80 percent of the entire range of goods presented at the school fairs. Organized on the eve of the new school year by the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, as well as its subordinate units, school fairs will work until September 5.

Educational seminars will be held throughout the country on August 21-23. The meetings with the best specialists of the sphere of education will be arranged in etraps of all regions on August 24 as well as in Ashgabat and velayat centres on August 26.
