Turkmen wrestler K. Esenov won the silver winner of the Asia Junior Championship in Greco-Roman Wrestling in Almaty (Kazakhstan). International Master of Sports, second-year student of the National Institute for Sport and Tourism of Turkmenistan achieved this success in the under 84-kg weight category competing against nine rivals representing Korea, China, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Iran, Japan, Uzbekistan and India.

This victory is a great success for our sportsman as it was his debut in the final of international competitions.

K. Esenov won his first award – bronze medal at the 2010 Asia Junior Championship in India. In 2011, he won the bronze medal of the Asia Junior Championship in Indonesia.

In the near future, the national team of Turkmenistan will prepare for the World Junior Championship in Greco-Roman Wrestling to be held in China.
