The laboratory on renewable energy (RE) has been created at the Turkmen State Institute of Transport and Communication. Besides specialists of the higher educational establishment, the representatives of the “Gun” Institute of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, State Energy Institute of the country as well as a series of universities of Germany, Spain, Portugal within the framework of the EU project “TEMPUS” took a hand in creation of the laboratory.
Today, the laboratory affords all necessary up-to-date equipment, particularly a solar panel with power of 4 kW. On the basis of the laboratory, practical training of students, improvement of professional skills of the specialists of core enterprises, researches of postgraduate students, who are engaged in study in the field of renewable energy and technology of solar cells, will be conducted.
In the course of realization of the “TEMPUS” project started in 2009, trainings have been held and core educational programs, lecturing materials-worked out. Turkmen specialists have replenished the store of knowledge about the latest technologies in the field of renewable energy, having performed fam trips to the enterprises in Germany, Spain and Portugal, which manufacture solar panels.
Rapid development of technologies on renewable energy: its use is particularly vital in climatic conditions of Turkmenistan, which is most generously warmed up by the sun, testifies about importance of creation of the laboratory.
