On January 30, 2025 in Almaty's House of Friendship an event was held to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Turkmen Public Cultural Center of Almaty, also the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. 

The staff of the Embassy of Turkmenistan, who participated in the celebrations, presented in their congratulatory speech a program of events on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Neutrality, which is celebrated this year.

The presentation noted that the anniversary celebrations of Turkmenistan's Neutrality coincide with the "International Year of Peace and Trust" declared by the UN General Assembly in 2025. Such recognition signifies the growing importance of the legal status of a neutral State in the modern world. The status was declared and consolidated in 1995, and since then has become a key element of Turkmenistan's foreign policy strategy based on the principles of good neighborliness, equality and mutual understanding.

"International Year of Peace and Trust". The slogan reflects the essence of the country's foreign policy and its desire to create conditions for sustainable peace. The emblem - the symbol of the year, has also been approved, which will become an important element of the upcoming celebrations. The presentation aroused wide interest, inasmuch as such symbols have deep cultural and historical significance in Turkmenistan.

The participants of the event also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the labor successes and the life of the Turkmen people.

It should be noted that the event was attended by representatives of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmens, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, representatives of diplomatic missions, President of the Foundation for Culture of the Turkic Peoples, ethnocultural centers of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, mass media, public figures, representatives of the Akimat of Almaty and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
