The ceremony of awarding the winners of the youth science contest place at Magtymguly Turkmen State University.
Participants of the scientific contest increase in number with every passing year. It brought together 490 participants last year; this year 623 young scientists have presented the results of their research in eight fields, including innovative technologies in the agro-industrial sector, ecology and efficient use of natural resources, energy, fuel and energy efficiency, chemical technologies and development of new types of competitive goods, construction, architecture and seismology, medicine and production of medicaments; information and telecommunication technologies and economics.
Guests and participants of the festivities were cordially greeted in the foyer of the University with music and songs. Among them were the cabinet ministers, heads of ministries and departments, deputies of the Parliament, notable scientists, representatives of the public organisations, journalists, rectors of higher educational institutions, doctoral candidates, postgraduate students, university professors, students and as participants of the International Exhibition and Conference on Science, Technology and Innovations in the Epoch of Power and Happiness and, of course, the winners of the of the youth science contest.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave the congratulatory address to the winners of the youth science contest. And then diplomas and valuable prizes were presented on behalf of the Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the winners of the youth science contest to the storm of applause of those present.
