The main trophy of the competitions was played in men and women's groups. The winner was determined by the absolute result. Valentina Simakova, the internationally recognized master of sports who was in the weight category up to 61 kg, was expected to become the champion in the women's group. The winner of the gold award of the world championship (version WDFPF), conducted in 2013 in Antwerp (Belgium), and the silver medalist of the Asian Paralympic 2014 (Republic of Korea) coped with a sports shell weighing 85 kg.
Marina Panina won in the category of up to 55 kg, whose result was 53 kg. In the group of athletes over 61 kg the youngest participant of the competition, 14-year-old Nyazik Portyeva, who raised the bar weight 42 kg, won first place.
The mater of the sport Spartak Ramazanov, who played in the category up to 107 kg in the men’s group won the Cup of the Center for Powerlifting Central Committee. Already in the first attempt, he secured a victory, having wrung from his chest a sports projectile weighing 185 kg. Let us note that S. Ramazanov is the only leader of such organizations throughout the CIS, who not only participates in competitions, but also is the leader of the team.
Indicative was the result of the master of sports Mekan Agalikov, who established a personal record in the category of up to 59 kg. He was bowed at the weight of 163 kg, which is 5 kg more than his personal best. The participant of the World Paralympic Games-2012 in London has in its active set of international achievements. For example, Mekan became vice-champion of the Cup of Russia-2015.
Besides to S.Ramazanov and M.Agalikov, victory in the competitions was celebrated: Adylsa Mammaddurdyev in the junior group under 18 years old, Maksat Toyliev, Rustam Kudjaev, Orazberdy Durdyev, Alexander Uralov and Ishkuvat Charyev in the men's group.
All of the above athletes are pupils of Honored Trainers of Turkmenistan, brothers Yusif and Adyl Aliyev.
