The Turkmenistan national youth and junior boxing team won 10 medals at the Boxam International Tournament 2026, held in the Spanish city of La Nucía. The competition brought together 246 athletes from 21 countries, with the Turkmen team represented by 17 boxers competing in the U15, U17, and U19 age categories.
Following the bouts, the Turkmen athletes won three gold, three silver, and four bronze medals.

The gold medals were won by Arslan Rejepov, a ninth-grade student at Secondary School No. 6 in Dashoguz (U15, up to 44 kg); Yunus Masharipov, a tenth-grade student at Secondary School No. 2 in Dashoguz (U17, up to 66 kg); and Muhammadsharif Masharipov, an eleventh-grade student at Secondary School No. 39 in Ashgabat (U17, up to 75 kg). In addition, Yunus Masharipov received a special award as the tournament’s Best Boxer in the U17 category.
The silver medals went to Rustam Bakhramov, a ninth-grade student at Secondary School No. 31 in Turkmenabat (U15, up to 46 kg), as well as representatives of the Lebap velayat—Atabek Hojayev, a tenth-grade student at Secondary School No. 2 in the Charjev etrap (U17, up to 52 kg), and Samir Saburov, an eleventh-grade student at Secondary School No. 38 in the Shabat etrap (U17, up to 80 kg).

The bronze medallists were Ismail Mollayev, an eleventh-grade student at Specialised Secondary School No. 132 in Ashgabat (U17, up to 46 kg); Ezbermuhammet Myratdurdyev, an eleventh-grade student at Secondary School No. 55 in Ashgabat (U17, up to 63 kg); Yazgeldi Amanmedov, a first-year student at the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education and Sports (U19, up to 60 kg); and Ismail Orazmyradov, a first-year student at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute (U19, up to 80 kg).
