Twelve-year-old pupil of “Dovletliler” Palace was awarded with special diploma and gold prize at the 20th International Children’s Festival of Turkic people held recently in Turkey – Istanbul.
Two children’s dance groups – “Joshgun” and “Shatlyk” represented our country in this grandiose review of young talents. Both of groups are repeated winners of the national contests, laureates of children’s prize named after Gulbaba.
“Joshgun” dance group includes the pupils of “Dovletliler” Palace. Forty years have passed since creation of this creative group. Within these years, it became popular and famous not only in our country, but also outside its limits. “Joshgun” – repeated prize-winner of international festivals of children’s creativity, which are regularly held in Russia – Moscow and Saint Petersburg, and brotherly Republic of Turkey.
Creative length of service of “Shatlyk” dance group is 50 years! Today, this popular children’s group represents the Ashgabat Palace of Children and Youth, gaining popularity on the international stage platforms.
Regular participation of two dance groups “Joshgun” and “Shatlyk” in the jubilee music festival is a vivid evidence of this fact. This festival hosted in Turkey the young artists from over thirty states of the world. Concert program included dance numbers of its participants, who were warded with honorable diplomas in the solemn closing ceremony of the festival.
Within the framework of the festival, it was held a song contest, where our country was represented by pupil of “Dovletliler” Palace Bagul Nuriyeva – participant of “Joshgun” dance group.
Having worthily passed the elimination round and being among top ten of the best performers, talented young artist conquered jury with her ringing voice, heartfelt performance of the song. So, Bagul was awarded with gold medal.
