In reviewing the turkmen national calendar, it turns out that our forefathers divided a winter season into four parts. As the forefathers used to say, the more snow lies on the ground, the more use from it. Indeed, snowy weather create some trouble in the pastures, but there will be plentiful growth of grass in future spring. Sometimes, even the new born lambs disappear among grass. That is why snow fall in winter is considered as godsend.
