Big holiday concert dedicated to Day of cultural and art workers widely observed in our country became the final event of the week.
Famous performers, professional bands and popular folk and ethnographic ensembles along with beginning artists took part in creative action. Colourful panorama of the holiday summoned to add new dynamic to further development of national culture, professional growth of the workers of this sphere included various events.
There were sharing of opinions and ideas, organization of various master-classes, opening of new talents and names in the process of creative communication. The participants of Cultural week also visited State historical and cultural reserve “Ancient Merv”, familiarized with the richest heritage of ancient distinctive culture of Turkmen people feeding the roots of modern art.
Stylized antique creative town was placed in the centre of Mary near velayat State history and local museum. There were displays of art creations in the halls of the museum. The square in front of Mary velayat library became the place for daily performances of singers, song and dance ensembles. The State Drama Theatre were presented for the masters of opera and plays.

Gala-concert with participation of leading soloists, pop artists, “rising stars” of native art stage - prize-winners of art competitions, famous dance ensembles and folk bands was conducted there.
Folk songs, modern rhymes, lyrical vocal compositions of national and world classical music were performed during the concert. The programme was adorned by choreographic compositions by folk motifs performed by popular dance ensembles.
Handing over the baton of Cultural Week that would take place in Ashgabat in 2017 according to the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan became one of the key moments of the event.
