The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan announced the dates of the semi-finals and finals of the III season of the project "Young Messengers of Peace", conducted by the university and the school of young diplomats in its composition among the country's high school students.

Two semifinal games will be held at the university on April 17 and 19. The finals are scheduled for May 8.

Based on the results of eight qualifying games held at the institute since the beginning of the 2023-2024 academic year, a team of semi-finalists of the competition was formed. It includes 16 of the most talented and capable participants, who will soon continue their intellectual struggle.

8 schoolchildren will take part in two semifinal games. The right to compete in the finals will be given to the 8 best players – 4 winners of each of the semifinal games, among whom prizes will be distributed in the final competition.

According to the organizers, participants of the upcoming semifinal and final games will be offered very interesting and difficult tasks that will become an even more rigorous test of students' competencies. In addition, during the games, questions from the country's scientists and our compatriots will be addressed to the young messengers via digital video communication.

Based on this, for the participants of the final tests on the official website of the IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country ww.iirmfa.edu.tm a wide list of literature recommended by the organizing committee of the project for preparation for the competition has been posted.

It should be recalled that the intellectual project is conducted among students of grades 9-11 of secondary schools in Turkmenistan and is aimed at career guidance for schoolchildren, identifying the most gifted participants who possess extensive knowledge and qualities necessary to build a successful diplomatic career in the future.

The thematic content of the project covers different periods of the history of the Turkmen people, during which the formation and development of the national school of diplomacy took place. Since the III season of the project is held under the general slogan "The Teaching of the Great Makhtumkuli Fragi is a national light of universal human values" in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the greatest poet and philosopher of the East, the content of all games also includes tasks dedicated to the life and literary heritage of Makhtumkuli.
