An exhibition of artists of the Turkic world will be held in Geneva

From the 22nd to 25th of April 2024, various events will be organized in Geneva aimed at introducing Turkic culture and art, as well as Turkic cooperation organizations and their activities. The cultural program includes thematic panels, painting and photography exhibitions and a gala concert featuring artists collectives of the Turkic world.

The events are organized by the United Nations Office in Geneva, the World Intellectual Property Organization and the Geneva Conservatory in collaboration with TURKSOY, the Organization of Turkic States, the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, the International Turkic Academy and the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries. They are designed to demonstrate the diverse and rich culture of the Turkic world, the best examples of creativity of the Turkic-speaking peoples and their spiritual unity.

On the 22nd, of April the opening ceremony of the exhibition will be held in the gallery of the Palais des Nations, which will present unique works by artists of the Turkic world on the themes «Woman in the Turkic World», «Silk Road» and «Magtymguly Fragi», the 300th anniversary of which is widely celebrated internationally. The exhibition will run until the third of May. The gala concert scheduled for the 23rd of April will feature 30 artists from seven countries, including Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Türkiye and Sakha-Yakutia (RF).
