A concert for lovers of classical music, performed by the «Camerata Ashgabat» orchestra, was held with great success at the «Vatan» cinema and concert hall. This group of musicians, which recently appeared on the Turkmen stage, immediately won the sympathy of listeners. The reason for this is the good taste in the selection of works and the performing skills of the Cameratians.

This time the musicians performed their performance under the title «Classical Shine». The concert program opened with a work by Jean Sibelius. Shostakovich’s Quartet № 8 was performed, and then variations on Kazakh folk melodies «Iligay» by Birjan Mynbayev, as well as the play «March» by the Azerbaijani composer Vagif Mustafa-zadeh, the play «Durdy-bagshy» arranged by Aman Agajykov and the magnificent dance of Aisha joined the classical splendor from the ballet «Seven Beauties» by Azerbaijani composer Kara Garayev. Such a tour of the countries of the near abroad has become a kind of kaleidoscope of beautiful melodies of eastern countries.

Honoured Artist of Turkmenistan Leyli Okdirova and laureate of the «Türkmeniň Altyn asyry» award Begench Moshiyev graced the concert program with their magnificent voices. Among the works they performed, the duet in Glinka’s romance «The Lark» was especially memorable.

Among the surprises for the audience was the debut of Baky Dolyyev, who performed the tango accordion solo «Oblivion» by Astor Piazzollo. The performance turned out to be enjoyable both for the audience and for the debutant himself.

The second surprise was the premiere of the work «Fragi» by Honoured Artist of Turkmenistan Rovshen Nepesov. With the sounds of Bahram Dolyyev’s violin, one felt a pure snow-white cloud rising above the ground. This cloud is the poetry of Magtymguly, which was raised high above all by the love of the Turkmen people. The composer, going up on stage, thanked Bahram Dolyyev for the beautiful performance of his new work and shared with him the deafening applause of the audience.
