On April 15, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held successful summit talks and meetings as part of his stay in Japan. One of the points of the program of the visit of the head of state was a meeting with representatives of the business circles of a friendly country.
The result was the signing of a solid package of documents, among which it is worth highlighting the Framework Agreement between the State Concern "Türkmenhimiýa" and a group of companies consisting of "Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd." (Japan), "Rönesans Endüstri Tesisleri Inşaat Sanayi" ve "Ticaret Anonim Şirketi" (Turkey) and "Itochu Corporation" (Japan) on cooperation in the design, procurement and turnkey construction of the second gas-to-gasoline processing plant in the Ahal velayat of Turkmenistan.
As is known, large production complexes equipped with modern technologies and the latest scientific achievements are currently being built in Turkmenistan. It is in our country that the world's first large-scale project for the production of synthetic fuel from natural gas has been implemented. The plant for the production of gasoline from natural gas in the Ahal velayat produces environmentally friendly gasoline ECO-93, which meets the Euro-5 standard
The construction of the second plant will further strengthen the economic potential of our country, ensure the expansion of the industry’s capabilities, strengthen our country’s position as a global energy power, and, importantly, provide additional financial revenues to the State Budget.
Today, Turkmenistan is successfully implementing tasks aimed at industrialization and diversification of the national economy, scientifically based production of high-quality products competitive in the world market. In this regard, great importance is attached to attracting the experience of developed countries of the world and the achievements of leading foreign companies, and actively expanding international economic ties.
