Silkworm breeders of the Lebap velayat, having delivered more than 1010 tons of cocoons to the granaries of the Motherland, have exceeded their annual contractual obligations. It should be noted that a large part of this is sericulture from Kerki, Halach, Hojambaz, Danev, Charjev and Koytendag etraps that were the first to exceed the state plan.

It is especially gratifying to note that, despite the fact that the state plan was fulfilled in excess, cocoons continue to arrive at reception points.

This season, contracts were signed with 21,700 experienced and qualified silkworm breeders in the province, and 27,656 boxes of silkworm eggs were distributed to tenant farmers.
