The final match of the 11th round of the Turkmenistan Higher League Football Championship ended with a victory for the capital’s "Altyn Asyr" over "Ahal" with a score of 3:1.

The game was held at the "Sport Toplumy" stadium in Buzmeyin etrap of Ashgabat.

This was already the second meeting of these principal rivals in the current national championship. In the first round-robin stage, "Altyn Asyr" won away by the narrowest margin—1:0—thanks to a precise strike by Ruslan Tajiev in the 83rd minute.

In the return match, "Ahal" wanted to redeem themselves in front of their fans. However, they were unable to take revenge.

In the match, the winners’ goals were scored by Abdyrahman Annamyradov (12th minute) and Ruslan Tajiev (36th minute). The match was also notable for the fact that "Ahal" player Nazar Tovakelev first scored against "Altyn Asyr" (29th minute), and then in the second half scored an own goal. The own goal occurred in the 72nd minute.
