While speaking at the plenary session of the International Conference “White City Ashgabat”, Kim Bo-hyun, President and CEO of one of the largest construction companies in the Republic of Korea, "Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd." highly appreciated Turkmenistan’s achievements in the construction industry.

Kim Bo-hyun singled out the project of the new city of Arkadag as an outstanding example of a well-thought-out and technologically equipped urban space. According to him, Turkmenistan today demonstrates an example of modern urban development, successfully integrating innovation, sustainable solutions and efficient use of natural resources.

The head of Daewoo E&C also said that his company, which has more than 50 years of experience in global construction, is actively expanding cooperation with Turkmenistan. One of the key results of this partnership was the signing of a contract with the "Türkmenhimiýa" State Concern for the design and construction of the Turkmenabat mineral fertilizer plant.

The new enterprise, which will be built within the structure of the Turkmenabat Chemical Plant named after S.A.Niyazov, will specialize in large-scale production of phosphate fertilizers and ammonium sulfate. Completion of the construction of this strategically important facility is planned for 2029, which will significantly strengthen the industrial and agricultural infrastructure of Turkmenistan.

This agreement underlines Turkmenistan’s commitment to sustainable industrial development and its attractiveness to major international investors and contractors in the high-tech construction sector.
