The XXIV International Conference "White City of Ashgabat", held on May 24-25 at the “Olympia” Hotel, has become an important platform for discussing the future development of the Turkmen capital. The participants, including representatives of international companies and leading experts, focused on innovation, infrastructure development and the formation of a “smart” and environmentally sustainable city.
Special attention at the forum was paid to the introduction of advanced technologies in the construction, industrial and transport sectors, such as digital solutions, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. This will improve the efficiency of building materials production, manage infrastructure projects and ensure the further development of the city.

The path to a “smart” and sustainable future for the capital
Ashgabat strives to become a model of a “smart” and environmentally friendly metropolis. At the conference, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan presented successfully implemented projects that are already developing "clean" energy, introducing "smart" transport systems, ecological architecture and innovative urban infrastructure. Work is underway to protect the urban environment and preserve its aesthetic appearance.
The Ministry also demonstrated significant achievements in the development of the country's road and transport infrastructure. Due to the introduction of advanced technologies and modern equipment, large-scale international highways and bridges have already been built, which significantly strengthens Turkmenistan's role as a key logistics center in the region.
Public-private partnership (PPP) plays an important role in the implementation of ambitious projects. It allows to reduce the financial burden on the state and accelerate the implementation of innovations. During the conference, examples of successful cooperation in the construction of new highways and the modernization of urban infrastructure were discussed.
Large international and domestic companies are interested in the development of Ashgabat. The EC "Dost gurluşyk, söwda, önümçilik" specializes in modern water supply systems, the IE "Ajaýp Gurluşyk" specializes in the construction of administrative and socio–cultural facilities. The EC "Aýdyń gijeler" promotes technological progress by producing a wide range of electrical and electronic products. These and other domestic companies are making a significant contribution to the creation of a modern, high-tech and sustainable city.
International cooperation
Among the international partners interested in the development of Ashgabat is “BVS Construction Limited”, which is ready to offer solutions for sustainable development and innovation. “Interbudmontazh” participates in the implementation of important infrastructure projects, including groundwater level reduction systems.
The “China National Technical Import and Export Corporation” (CNTIC) expressed its readiness to deepen cooperation in the construction of industrial facilities, the development of transport infrastructure and the introduction of digital technologies. “Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd” (Republic of Korea) highly appreciated Turkmenistan's achievements and signed a contract for the construction of the Turkmenabat plant of mineral fertilizers.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is also actively supporting Turkmenistan in modernizing its energy infrastructure, introducing renewable energy sources, and improving energy efficiency.
The conference "White City Ashgabat - 2025" demonstrated Turkmenistan's firm intention to move forward, combining modern technologies with care for the future and the environment. Joint efforts of the state, business and educational institutions will allow the successful implementation of the concept of the "White City Ashgabat", creating a city where technology and nature exist in harmony.
