Silkworm breeders in the Dashoguz velayat are delivering cocoons to collection points at a high rate. In a short time, about two hundred tons of valuable raw materials have already been delivered here. The farmers from the Shavat etrap, whose contractual obligations for delivery amount to 184 tons, and the Gorogly etrap, where they intend to procure 80 tons of important raw materials for the textile industry this year, are conducting a responsible campaign in an organized manner.

In general, it is planned to prepare five hundred tons of cocoons in the velayat. Contracts for the production of raw materials this year were concluded with eight thousand renters, and several hundred private structures and some daykhan associations are also participating in the process.

It should be noted that the region's silkworm breeders annually achieve success in the production of silkworm cocoons. The main factors for this are the state's support for agricultural producers, including high purchase prices for cocoons, timely resolution of various organizational issues, careful preparation of local silkworm breeders for each season, their accumulated experience over the years in effectively feeding silkworm caterpillars, and the availability of a good forage base, which is vast mulberry plantations.
