This year, the start of winter crop harvesting in the Dashoguz velayat was again given in the "Aksaray" daykhan association of the Gorogly etrap. The first ears of wheat were mown in the field of local tenant Nurgeldi Esenov, who managed to grow a good harvest on twelve hectares.

It is no coincidence that the honorary right to start the mowing in the region in recent years has increasingly been given to this daykhan association. Every year it achieves significant results in the cultivation of valuable crops. And this year, local grain growers intend to collect no less than nineteen centners of grain from each hectare.

According to experts, a good wheat harvest has been grown in the velayat, the basis of which is made up of high-yielding and resistant wheat varieties adapted to local weather and climate conditions — "Juwan", "Sahrayy", "Batko", "Alekseyevich" and "Bezostaya-100".

All necessary organizational measures have been taken to successfully carry out the mowing of grain, transportation, subsequent storage and processing of the harvested crop. Thus, to maintain a high rate of harvesting in the velayat, 315 high-performance grain harvesters of well-known brands "John Deere" and "CLAAS" are used. More than one and a half thousand units of motor transport will take part in the transportation of wheat, which will be continuously supplied with fuel and lubricants and prompt technical maintenance.
